Recent observations of the Vela pulsar, PSR 0833-45, confirm that the
rotation measure of the source is increasing, and show that at the same
time the dispersion measure is decreasing. The observations are
interpreted in terms of a magnetized cloud moving out of the
line-of-sight to the source.
