The authors report the results of a photometric programme on the cataclysmic variable EX Hya. New eclipse timings, as well as new timings for the 67-min photometric modulation are presented and discussed. The authors suggest that EX Hya is a member of the DQ Her subclass of cataclysmic variables, in which the optical modulation is thought to be associated to the non-synchronous rotation of a white dwarf in the binary system.
