143Nd/144Nd ratios have been measured in recent core top foraminifera from 25 sites throughout the Atlantic Ocean. The average ɛNd(0) value from this study agrees well with previous estimates of the average Nd isotopic composition of the Atlantic based on analyses of ferromanganese deposits and seawater samples. However, the larger data base and the nature of the samples have allowed us to identify distinct provenances of Nd isotopes in the Atlantic.
