The morphological properties of the UV excess galaxy NGC 2820 A in U, B, and V are discussed. The structure of the object appears almost identical in all three colors. Two condensations are observed in direct photographs, the brighter of which is the object Mark. 108. The physical parameters of the galaxy are about the same as in normal H II regions. The chemical composition of the ionized gas in Mark. 108 is determined using detailed spectrophotometry, and a deficit in heavy elements is found in it compared with the galactic H II regions.
