A CCD time series photometry was performed for 44 Tau, a multiperiodic delta Scuti star. The light curves were obtained over 19 nights from 1992 October to 1993 February. From the analysis of the data by means of Fourier transform and nonlinear least-squares fitting, the seven frequencies identified by Poretti et al. (1992) were derived. The analysis of the new data confirmed the existence of two very close frequencies, 6.90 and 7.01 c/d; it was also found that the frequency component of 9.56 c/d which was the seventh strongest one three years ago, was strengthened to the third during the period of our observations. On the other hand, the frequency of 9.12 c/d which was the third strongest component three years ago, appeared as the weakest one in our observations.
