A model for the IR knots that are aligned with the jets of SS 433 is constructed. Based on the IR and millimeter observations, it is suggested that the knots are composed of dust and gas heated and partially ionized by collisions with the relativistic electrons and protons in the jets. It is suggested that the 60-100 micron IR emission from the knots is dominated by thermal emission by dust grains, and that the 12-25 micron emission is due to either ionic line emission from the gas or emission features from PAH molecules. Assuming that the jets are beams with velocity of 0.26c. Physical parameters such as the number density of the electrons or protons in the jets, the dust density, dust temperature, upper limits of electron density, electron temperature and the neutral hydrogen atom number density in the knots are derived. The ionization-recombination equilibrium of the knots, the cooling and heating of the dust, and the physical relation between the jets and the knots are discussed.
