S III 9532 A forbidden lines are measured in the three known extreme halo planetary nebulae, and measurements of the S II 6717 + 6731 A lines are improved. The S abundance in 108-76.1 deg appears to be less than 1/10 solar, and in 49 + 88.1 deg and K648, it is approximately 1/100 of the values of disk planetary nebulae and the sun. This is consistent with the low Ar abundances also found in the halo planetary nebulae, and with the Fe deficiency of the stars in M15 (of which K648 is a member). The solar-to-1/50 solar range of O and Ne abundances in the halo nebulae implies either that the abundances of these elements have been enhanced by nuclear reactions in the planetary progenitors, or that S and Ar were synthesized galactically at a slower rate than O or Ne.
