For several values of the density parameter, correlations between radio luminosity at 178 MHz and redshift are derived in the case of the 166 3CR flux density-limited sample, where high redshift sources tend to be more powerful than those with lower redshifts. A strong correlation exists between luminosity and redshift which cannot be solely due to a selection effect. Attention is given to the consequences of this luminosity variation with epoch for the angular diameter-redshift relationship. It is found that for the density parameter values considered, linear size evolution of a particular form is needed to explain the observed Euclidean behavior.
