The rather long orbital period of 48.2905 days and large eccentricity of
0.384, together with a mass function of 0.107, are derived for the
spectroscopic binary HR 96. The extensive photographic plate material
employed in the present study does not support previously suggested
spectroscopic and photometric peculiarities and variability.
