High-resolution numerical simulation of formation of globular cluster in galaxy merger is presentted. We follow the hydrodynamics of the merging system to a few orbital periods locate the protocluster cores formed in shock-compressed high density regions and derive the distribution function and mass function of the star cluster system of the merging event.
