The Chandra X-ray Observatory was launched at a time when exciting new techniques became available that allowed us to provide more and easier access to its data archive than ever before. We shall highlight three aspects of our interfaces that make the information available to anyone in any location: - Central search capabilities with a distributed retrieval network - A special search and retrieval interface for the general public - Complete bibliographic database with extensive linking between the data archive and the published literature This work has been supported by NASA under contract NAS 8-03060 to the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory for operation of the Chandra X-ray Center.
