The newly designed, developed and tested Lobster Eye X-ray telescopes have a very large field of view (FOV) and since using optics, are able to achieve fine sensitivities/flux limits, exceeding those of recent and previous X-ray surveys. Based on these devices, powerful X-ray All Sky Monitors (ASM) can be designed for the energy range 0.1 - 10 keV. We will review the status of development of Lobster Eye telescopes including discussion of its performance based both on mathematical simulations as well as on results of measurements and tests of already assembled devices. The proposal of Lobster Eye based X-ray ASM will be described and discussed, including scientific justification and related astrophysical aspects.
