Scientific paper

Vibrational transition probabilities, Franck-Condon Factors and average r centroids have been evaluated by an approximate analytical method for the A-X system of NH. The average r centroids for the band (v-prime, v-double-prime) increase linearly with wavelength; the sequence difference Delta-average r centroids remains approximately constant. Results are shown for four new bands of NH.
