An analysis of the average spectra of 39 pulsars indicates that there
exists a correlation between the characteristic frequencies of the
spectra (turnover and cutoff frequencies) and the pulsar period. This
correlation is found to be in agreement with the predictions of the
model for magnetospheric radio emission at the local plasma frequency.
