Infrared photometry in the JHKL bands is presented for 25 SRb and Lb
galactic carbon stars. Bolometric corrections and intrinsic colors are
determined; two stars are found to have infrared excesses at 2.2 and 3.4
microns. Comparisons are made with previous estimates of Mbol and the
range of possible values is discussed.
