The excitation temperatures and optical depths at the center of the cloud for the first four levels of ortho-formaldehyde have been derived from observations to within a narrow range. The linewidths of the 6-cm transition have been considered as a function of distance from the cloud center. While there is a tendency for linewidths to decrease as one moves outwards, there is a lot of scatter in the points, and it is not possible to decide uniquely in favor of either collapse or turbulence.
