Photometry of stars in NGC 1868 is presented, and the resulting color-magnitude diagram is compared with theoretical tracks constructed with a modified Paczynski code (Flower, 1976). It is shown that such a comparison makes it possible to estimate the age and metal abundance of NGC 1868, providing a clue to the history of star and cluster information in the LMC.
