The possibility of detecting gamma radiation from the dense supernova shell surrounding a young pulsar is investigated. The energy spectrum of gamma quanta emitted from a young pulsar by the mechanism of injection of protons from the pulsar into the expanding shell is calculated. Gamma quanta of energy above 100 MeV should be detectable by gamma-telescopes aboard satellites or balloons. Sources up to 15 Mpc distance from earth may be detected in this manner.
