Having built the criterion that the unstable thermonuclear reaction has appeared in the helium burning shell of the thermal pulsation AGB (TP-AGB) star, this criterion embodied the richer physical message, it is not only relates with the geometry property of the helium burning shell of a TP-AGB star, but also all relates with the mechanics property, with the thermodynamic property and chemical property of the helium burning shell of the TP-AGB star. Proposing the mechanism that the unstable helium thermonuclear reaction happens and vanishes voluntarily in the helium burning shell of a TP-AGB star. It may be stated that the convection arisen on the part area of the helium burning shell of a TP-AGB star is able to sparkle the unstable helium thermonuclear reaction. The unstable helium thermonuclear reaction is able to impel the helium burning shell to swell quickly, the quick geometry deformation of the helium burning shell removes the unstable helium thermonuclear reaction voluntarily. Having carried on evolution model calculation from the main sequence star to the thermal pulsation AGB star for a 5M&sun; star, such numerical calculation result agrees with the prediction of the new criterion. During the thermal pulsation period for the sixth time of 5M&sun; TP-AGB star, some chemical elements are dug up on the surface of the TP- AGB star of 5M&sun;. There elements are the fusion products of the helium thermonuclear reaction where the physical conditions are lg T2/ K<8.155 and 4.0
