Four years of photometry of the composite Be + K binary system HD 51480
= V644 Mon is presented. The star is found to be irregularly variable.
Analysis of two coude spectra of the H-alpha region reveals a continuing
strong P Cygni profile for H-alpha which is variable in a minor fashion.
