Recent radio observations of Cyg X-3 have revealed extended radio lobes on a scale of about 0.3 pc, elongated in the same direction in which clouds or relativistic plasma are ejected from the binary system. It is argued here that the extended radio lobes can be understood as bubbles blown into a dense interstellar medium by the cumulative energy of the bursts from the central object. If this is correct, the extended lobes would have to be about 2000 years old.
