Scientific paper

Some results of visual mapping and photometric scanning of Saturn are
illustrated and discussed. The existence of active (rapidly changing)
areas and of stable formations in the atmosphere of Saturn is revealed
by comparing the present observations with observations made during 1971
through 1973.
