Two-, three-, and four-impulse maneuvers assuring the soft rendezvous of two space vehicles are examined in the linear formulation. The impulses are applied at two maneuever segments, the distance between which amounts to several loops. Algorithms are proposed which can be used to determine the application angles and components of impulses in the case of which the total characteristic velocity of the maneuver is minimal.
