Old and new plate material spanning a 74 year interval has been used to study the period behavior of 12 RR Lyrae variables in M15. The stars investigated were Nos. 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 15, 31, 39, 40, 43, and 49 in the Third Catalogue (Hogg, 1973). Results for these stars have been combined with those obtained by Wesselink (1974) for 12 other M15 variables. A significant excess of increasing over decreasing periods was discovered, along with evidence that the rate of period change has not held constant for some of the stars. This period behavior can not be entirely explained by the purely evolutionary theories of period change.
