An X-ray pulsar was discovered in the center of the dark cloud Lynds
1457. The nature of the X-ray pulsar is discussed. It is a binary X-ray
pulsar or a collapse star in the dense gas. The age of the dark cloud is
estimated to be about 100,000 years, the presence of a neutron star or
white dwarf in the dark cloud is discussed.
