The study deals with the derivation of the formulas for determining radio meteor radiants taking into account meteoroid deceleration. The derivation is based on a slightly modified formulation of Fermat's principle requiring the time of the electromagnetic impulse propagation along the true path to be minimum, in order to reach the receiving station after being reflected from a given obstacle. The expressions derived contain the classical formulas valid for nondecelerating meteors as the limiting case.
