Recent STIS-HST observations of the [WN] central star of the planetary nebul a LMC-N66 are presented. These data show that the star is slowly fading, after its LBV-type outburst occured in 1994. The present stellar brightness and mass loss rate are similar to the values observed in 1990. The validity of the expanding atmosphere model computed for the maximum of the outburst (Pena et al. 1997, ApJ 491, 233) is discussed. Nebular data from long-slit STIS observations are also presented.
