SAO 31628, which is frequently used as a constant comparison star in
observations of the variable symbiotic CH Cygni, has been found to be an
eclipsing binary. The eclipse, which is seen in B light, lasts 5 hours
and produces a flux decrease of over 20. We propose that SAO 31628 has
an orbital period of 3.74783(3) days.
