Scientific paper

The paper shows how each of the two protoplanets hypothesized by Olbers, the collision of which had given rise to all dispersed solid material existing in the solar system, had a mass close to twice the mass of the moon. This mass is not found in the asteroid belt but only in Io and Europa, which have intercepted most of the asteroids captured by Jupiter.
