The results of optical and radio (at 144 MHz) observations of the Sun during the years 1993 - 94 are reported. The macular activity in this period has diminished, together with the other manifestations associated to this photospheric characteristic, near 22nd cycle minimum. Moreover, the periodic concentration of macular groups in longitude, recognized in previous years, has been confirmed.
