The results of a kinematic study of the peculiar galaxy Arp 10 carried out on the 6- m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory, Russian Academy of Sciences, are given. The galaxy exhibits a complex velocity field, a departure of integral characteristics from the Tully — Fisher relation, a low mass-to-luminosity ratio, and an enhanced rate of star formation. The hypothesis that the observed features of Arp 10 were formed in the accretion of a companion onto a gas-rich spiral galaxy is discussed.
