Methods used for investigating the variation in the azimuth of the
Carlsberg Automatic Meridian Circle, using azimuth marks, pairs of
circumpolar stars, and three polarissimae, are described. Preliminary
results obtained on the variations using these three methods are
intercompared, showing good agreement.
