Recently discovered correlations between variations in the x-ray spectrum and the frequency of fast quasiperiodic oscillations from the neutron star x-ray binary 4U 0614+091 suggest that a soft blackbody component of the x-ray spectrum arises from the accretion disk. Here, we show that this identification, if correct, may allow one to obtain lower bounds on the radii of neutron stars from measurements of their x-ray spectra.
