CCD and photographic BVRI broadband surface photometric observations obtained at McDonald Observatory, Capilla Peak Observatory, Asiago Observatory, and with the 2.1-m Struve reflector during the period 1963-1990 are presented for the close pair of SBm galaxies NGC 4618 and NGC 4625. The data are presented in extensive contour maps, graphs, and tables and discussed in detail. Both galaxies are identified as Magellanic-type spirals, at a mean distance of 6.3 + or - 0.6 Mpc, with segmented radial luminosity profiles and evidence of significant massive star formation in the dominant spiral arms.
