The dependence of the spatial void probability function phi sub0 on a scaling variable for different galaxy cluster samples is analyzed through the statistics of voids. Measurements of phi sub0 are presented to search for a scaling law in the distribution of clusters to verify a possible relation between the scaling of galaxy and cluster distributions, and then to test cluster segregation as a function of richness class. It is shown that galaxies and clusters, in spite of the fact that their distributions are tested on very different scales, amplitudes, and densities of the correlation functions (and given all of the problems involved in the definition of an unbiased sample of galaxy clusters), seem to follow a universal scaling law.
