Incompatible element abundances in Apollo 15 yellow-brown glass are systematically higher by ≡2× over those of Apollo 15 olivine normative mare basalt, although their bulk chemistries indicate similarities in petrogenesis. Models of Apollo 15 yellow-brown glass, green glass, olivine normative basalt, and the Apollo 12 olivine mare basalt, suggest that a mechanism of source-hybridization was effective in producing the observed variations in trace element patterns.
