The propagation of solar-cosmic-rays (SCR) protons in the event of August 1, 1967 observed by Venera-4 is investigated on the basis of a numerical solution of the SCR propagation equation. It is shown that the behavior of the SCRs can be explained most completely if the presence of loops or magnetic mirror structures is assumed in the interplanetary magnetic field.
