Scientific paper

A method of determination of the reality of star groups with common motion in space is proposed. The method is based on comparison with the characteristics of the groups in random samples. Of nine primary selected groups, five were found to be real according to this criterion. It is impossible to judge about the reality of the rest of the groups by the proposed method.
