The correlation function of rich clusters of galaxies in the southern hemisphere is determined using a new southern cluster catalog prepared by Abell, Corwin, and Olowin. Angular correlation functions for both nearby and distant cluster samples are determined. The results are consistent with the correlation function of northern clusters published by Bahcall and Soneira in 1983, revealing strong correlations to r ⪉ 50h-1Mpc. The correlation function scaling is consistent with that expected for real spatial clustering. Richer clusters are observed to be more strongly correlated than poorer clusters, consistent with previous findings.
