Mutual phenomena of Galilean satellites in 1973 were observed, and six light curves for four phenomena could be obtained at the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory. A computer program to provide an ephemeris of the satellites based on Sampson's original theory was also constructed in order to compare the observations with the theory, especially with respect to the central times of the phenomena.
