Scientific paper
Physical parameters of DQ Her are determined on the basis of complex analysis of 1982 - 1986 UBVRI light curves, spectral data and model simulations. The UBVRI brightness distribution functions on the unperturbed by the hot spot accretion disc, enveloping the white dwarf, are obtained. The average UBVRI radius of the luminous part of the accretion disc is (35 - 43)% of the orbit radius α. Supposing, the secondary's mass satisfies the empirical relation M2-P for cataclysmic variables, then, in case K1 = 149 km/s, the mass of the white dwarf is Mwd = (0.70 - 0.73) Msun; α ≅ (1.03 - 1.04)x1011cm, i ≅ 79° - 82°, R20 ≅ (0.41 - 0.40) α and the mass ratio M2/Mwd ≅ 0.65 - 0.62.
