The X-ray spectrum of the source 3 A 2008-568 associated with the southern cluster of galaxies S 2008-569 has been observed with the Exosat ME detectors. The flux was detected in a quadrant pointing in offset position to monitor the background during the observation of the target RR Tel. An average intracluster gas temperature of about 5.3 KeV is obtained, confirming previous HEAO1-A2 observations.
