THE radio source 4C11.50=1548 + 115 is reported to be a pair of quasars only 5 arcs apart1,2. One quasar, 4C11.50a, has a redshift z = 0.4359 and is approximately 17 mag, the second quaser, 4C11.50b has a redshift z = 1.901 and is an object of 19 mag. I wish to point out that if the redshifts are cosmological the mass of 4C11.50a must be less than about 4 × 1012Msolar.
