The stellar kinematics of five early-type components of E/disk pairs is discussed. NGC 1549 (E0) shows significant rotation along the minor axis. This phenomenon may be connected with the presence of a very large isophotal twisting. The presence of a flat velocity dispersion curve in two of the five objects supports the hypothesis that this phenomenon is more common than believed and may be interpreted as a variation of the anisotropy in the galaxy. In the present sample only NGC 2305/2307 appears to be a genuine isolated mixed physical pair, the other objects possibly being misclassified disk galaxies.
