Possible observational implications of molecule formation in the primordial universe at redshifts less than 250 are considered. Wavelengths and probabilities are given for the radiative rotational transitions of the molecules HD(+) and LiH. Lithium recombination is examined, and kinetic equations are used to obtain an exact solution to the problem of the dynamics of molecule formation for the cases of HD(+) and LiH. The optical depths in the lines of these molecules are calculated. It is suggested that even a minute contribution of scattering by LiH molecules to the observed pattern of relict-radiation temperature fluctuations could be identified by constructing correlation functions for the space distribution of the temperature fluctuations.
