Dr. Poul Erik Nissen from the Astronomical Institute of the Arhus University in Denmark has recently used the ESO 1-metre telescope to investigate the very early moments of the Universe just after the "Big Bang" !Many people may wonder how a comparatively small telescope can penetrate into the area of astronomy that is normally reserved for the largest telescopes.
