The possibility is considered that neutral hydrogen within diffuse nebulae is distributed in discrete condensations which are equilibrium configurations. All hydrodynamic flows are taken to be steady state flows. Attention is given to spherically symmetric condensations, the effects of anisotropy in the incident photon intensity, the effects of anisotropy in incident photon energy, and the interaction of a supersonic stellar wind with a globule.
