The role of radio astronomy in the study of the universe was examined. Topics included galactic models; radio galaxies; interferometer observations, remnants of supernovae; pulsars; interpulse emission at decameter wavelengths; stellar evolution; recombination lines of carbon carried out with the UTR-Z radio telescope; evolution of chemical and isotopic composition of the interstellar medium; red shifts; and radio scanning.
