Spectra of 0.5 A resolution are presented for two red giants within the globular cluster M55. Whereas a previous lower resolution survey showed little evidence for a range in lambda 3883 cyanogen band strengths, the new data show that small but measurable CN and CH variations exist within this cluster. The two giants exhibit a positive correlation between CN and CH, in contrast to the results obtained in clusters such as NGC 6752. In this respect, and others, M55 is more like M22 and omicron Cen.
