The radio continuum emission from the E/S0 galaxy NGC 3894 (1146+596) was mapped with VLBI techniques at 5 GHz. The hybrid map shows elongated structure on parsec scales which is closely aligned with the galaxy's isophotal minor axis. Although collimated on a parsec scale, the radio emission is amorphous in appearance on a 30-kpc scale. This large-scale emission may be inherently uncollimated, perhaps because of disruption of an intrinsically weak beam by its interaction with NGC 3894's interstellar medium, or by the interaction of NGC 3894 with its binary companion galaxy NGC 3895.
